Profile
About me
I hold a doctorate in music education, teach Music and English at Hermann-von-Helmholtz-Gymnasium Potsdam, and lecture at Berlin University of the Arts.
My research focus
My research focuses on motivation and basic psychological needs in music education. I also consider the teacher’s perspective: how does a teacher’s own motivation relate to their teaching style?
At Berlin University of the Arts, I teach future music teachers. In Potsdam, my work includes classroom teaching, directing the string orchestra, arranging and organising concerts. With Temmingberg, I play violin and piano and sing swing and jazz.
